The association La Belle Expé was established in May 2023 by Mohit, an Indian, and Julie, a French national, during their extensive journey around the world. Inspired by their volunteering experiences and while maintaining a travel blog (https://juleymarga.wordpress.com/), they decided to take a more significant commitment by supporting the specific needs of local associations they encountered. Together or individually, they have already visited Nepal, South India, Vietnam, Laos, and will be heading to North India starting from July 7, 2023.

 

La Belle Expé is a non-profit association registered under the French law of 1901 and officially declared to the prefecture of Allier in France.

Currently, the association comprises 5 members and has successfully collected 387 euros in funds.

With the help of generous donations, La Belle Expé has been able to collaborate with three associations in Vietnam. They purchased 80 kg of rice and groceries for the families of Buon Choi village and the students supported by the Children Education Foundation. Additionally, they provided a blender to the Street International School. Moreover, in partnership with the French association "Peoples and Mountains of the Mekong," La Belle Expé acquired pharmaceutical equipment worth 40 euros for dispensaries in Laos.

As Mohit and Julie embark on their mission in North India, they find themselves with only 100 euros remaining in their fundraiser. Their determination to make a difference continues undeterred.

Donations are exclusively allocated to benefit the recipients associated with La Belle Expé. They are not utilized to cover our own expenses, such as gasoline, accommodation, and so on, incurred while meeting the needs of these beneficiaries.

We are actively seeking volunteers to assist with communication campaigns, event organization, networking, and managing our Facebook page, among other tasks.
